Valentine Carlotta

Valentine Carlotta was born 30th June 1959. He was turned on April 21st, 1998 after taking a trip to visit a hospital in Milan to undertake further medical training. He is the father to Alexander Carlotta, Sofia Volturi, and Gabriella Cullen. Gabriella was given up for adoption at a year old, as the young couple was unprepared for triplets.
Valentine now resides in Volterra with his son, Alexander Carlotta whom he turned on his 21st birthday. However, his daughter remained human as he knew he wouldn't be able to handle two newborn vampires, not with the Volturi constantly checking up on him.
When his wife and the mother of his children ‘died’, he became aggressive, targeting Sofia (Carlotta) Volturi, becoming physically and emotionally abusive towards her. Because of this, a narcissistic family dynamic formed. Alexander was the golden child and Sofia became the scapegoat of the family.
Valentine has narcissistic personality disorder which was developed due to his own upbringing. This DOES not excuse or justify his actions towards his children.
